Our Affordable Therapy services are provided by Registered Clinical Social Work Interns who have completed their master’s-level clinical education and are registered with the Florida Department of Health while working toward independent licensure.
Registered Interns practice under the supervision of licensed clinicians and receive ongoing guidance as they provide therapy. They work with clients to address emotional and mental health concerns using evidence-based approaches tailored to individual needs and goals.
Every Registered Intern receives clinical supervision and is expected to practice according to applicable professional and ethical standards.
Getting started looks similar to beginning other individual therapy services. The initial process gives you an opportunity to discuss your concerns, goals, and reasons for seeking therapy, and to determine whether working with a Registered Clinical Social Work Intern is an appropriate fit.
Your therapist will work with you to develop a treatment approach based on your needs and goals. Sessions may address concerns such as anxiety, depression, stress, relationships, life transitions, or other emotional challenges.
