Therapy Process

Your first session is a space to get to know each other. Your therapist will learn about your concerns and goals and walk you through what therapy might look like for you. It’s also a time for you to ask any questions you may have.

Most clients begin with weekly sessions, though the frequency may vary based on your needs, goals, and therapist’s recommendations.

Initial sessions last 60 minutes. Ongoing therapy sessions are typically 40–53 minutes, but this can vary depending on your needs and treatment plan.

The length of therapy varies for each person, depending on your goals and progress. Some people find relief in just a few sessions, while others benefit from ongoing support. Your therapist will work with you to determine the best approach for your needs.

Yes. Therapy can help with stress, personal growth, relationship challenges, life transitions, self-discovery, and improving overall well-being.

It’s important that you feel supported in therapy. If something doesn’t feel right, please let us know. We’ll work with you to find someone who feels like a better match, so you can continue your progress without disruption.
